The state of politics in our Province made him so stressed out that it gave him Tourette's Syndrome. Jack gets cranky when the Network Director sends him on unimportant news stories. (Ribbon Cutting, By-laws announcements) Jack prefers the nitty-gritty, fast-paced, psychotic political landscape even though it gave him the tics. A man of the people, he is also a historian. He is delighted to bring back Heritage Moments exclusively for Alberta.

Art and Culture Correspondent

Cattle Baron and Background actor #3 in Anchorman 2, is also BBN's Art and Culture Correspondent. His Favourite Drink is a Maple Old Fashioned because we love Canada Eh? In his spare time, he trains dogs to sniff out antique Rolly and Cartier watches. He embraces the diversity that makes Alberta so amazing. He frequently checks out what beef looks like in the stores where the peasants shop and admires the cuts in various packaging. He is not a stranger to charity and sponsors Mexican Wrestler 'Luchadore'. A man of the people, always invited to be at someones grandmother's table to share food and stories.

Action Jackson

On-location Correspondent

Unhinged, undiagnosed, and totally Hyper. Action Jackson is always first on the scene. Action is always in the action on location, but we have yet to know if he is actually getting any action. He has tons of fans, but will one stick? Life-long Roots Reggae fan, first one to start skanking on the dance floor, and the first one to go to the bar for a Pint. Loves Futbol and Football, because why the f*$k not. Loved by all his fans and seen centre court at Wimbledon and poolside at various country clubs. Bad and Boujue indeed. When there's action in Calgary, Action Jackson is there. BBN's most important Correspondent, especially for early morning Dog Circus acts.

Julie Robinson (as herself)

Weather Medium

Introducing, Julie Robinson (as herself) is Berta Broadcast News' VERY OWN first-ever Weather Medium. Meteorologists are very inaccurate; our weather medium is never wrong. The weather in Calgary can change at a moment's notice - this is the best decision the network thought of. At least we hope it is- anyway- We thought of it first. So there. She can tap into the universe and sense what the weather will be like, but a lot of the time, spirits get in the way- Not like drinky-drinky- but your dead aunt, Catherine, is saying that she knew your husband was bad news. Julie also gets info, such as when people are due for colonoscopies or whether they should get a mole checked out. Julie is unpredictable when predicting; you never know what you will get, even as you learn.. what you get.

Billy 'The Bull' Buchanan

News Desk

This may or may not be a mug shot of Billy after an "incident' involving a certain Park Warden, but no need to worry Billys fishing licence was not affected as it had nothing to do with the incident in particular. Anyway... Billy is always talking about something inappropriate at the News Desk, and has any excuse to get away and go fishing, or get front row tickets to Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. He is also a life-long member of the Kim Mitchell and Rush fan club. Billy is as Stubborn as a Scot and is determined to always get the truth from his sources, and may or may not be wearing anything under the kilt..... under the desk....

Introducing Kashim Jr., definitely the best-looking member of the News team. K.J is our Music and Entertainment Specialist. When he's not singing and modeling he is connected to everything that is Music and Entertainment in Calgary. K.J. IS YYC- is BBN's latest segment. K.J lets us know what is happening around town so we can plan our weekend. K.J is always surrounded by Fans as he walks through Downtown. His favourite activity is walking down 17th Ave and soaking in the vibes.

Cheyenne Sharpe

Sports Correspondent and Anchor

Introducing Cheyenne Sharpe, Sports Correspondent and Anchor. Proud Mom to 4 Boys. Leon, Connor, Taylor and Hunter. All of them play hockey except Hunter, who has started getting into competitive figure skating. That doesn't stop Cheyenne. She will be in the bleachers, chirping the figure skating Moms. The Arena is her turf, and she is always the first one to roll up her sleeves and knock a ref out. Cheyenne loves Basketball when not having knee surgery. Cheyenne puts athletes in the hot seat and asks questions, like what is your name? Where are you from? Chewing gum is a lifeline for Cheyenne.

Tammy 'Tenacious' Turner

Tammy 'Tenacious' Turner is Alberta-born, Canadian-proud, and somehow still legally allowed with a Mic. Divorced three times and currently accepting applications for mistake number four, Tammy brings big hair, bigger opinions, and just enough inappropriate laughter to make HR nervous. She loves red, bling, animal print, coffee, wine, pasta, and asking the hard-hitting questions no one else is drunk enough to ask. A lifelong fan of raunchy comedies, romance movies, and pretending she doesn't have a crush on Billy Buchanan, Tammy is the kind of woman who can report breaking news, flirt with the camera guy, and light a cigarette from her cleavage - all before the next ribbon cutting at a Botox clinic. She has a soft spot for animals, a weakness for bad decisions, and a favorite saying that sums her up perfectly: "I lost my cig in my bra". On location, Tammy is bold, loud, inappropriate, and impossible to ignore - which is exactly why BBN needs her.

Hot Dog Culinary Expert

Red Deer by way of Vienna, Anita brings her families passion for the Weinner. Knowledge of Bratwurst, Rohwurst and Kochwurst is just the tip of her expertise. Anita fought her way to the top of the hot dog culinary world, competing against the Richard Johnson empire. Anita just recently won Miss Glizzy Gobbler Universe last year all while releasing her own brand of Mustard. Anita Weinners Fine Yellow Mustard, made in an old meth lab in Red Deer. Let us be frank, Anita makes on location segments fun, some people are the wurst, but Anita is definitely a Weiner in our Books. Welcome to the BBN.
